Application instructions

Application Instructions:
Each year, the Trinity County Resource Conservation District (TCRCD) Natural Resources Scholarship recognizes and supports an outstanding Trinity County high school senior or former Trinity County graduate who is or will be pursuing a higher education degree in natural resources or conservation. The scholarship fund was established in 2014, and is made possible by donations from TCRCD staff and board members, corporate patrons, and the public.

This spring, the TCRCD will award two scholarships ($500 each) to two top Trinity County students who are on a path to become natural resource or conservation professionals.

Students pursing degrees in biology, chemistry, ecology, environmental education, environmental science, fisheries, forestry, geology, natural resources, watershed science, wildlife or other related fields are eligible to apply. Students must demonstrate how their degree will better them to become a natural resources or conservation professional. Students must also verify enrollment before funds are awarded. Scholarship funds are awarded directly to students and can be used towards tuition, books, housing, or other school-related expenses.
